Our Approach
Our goal is to inform, empower and support women running for and serving in state legislatures across the country. We are a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization empowering women candidates and elected legislators through technology and process solutions that will significantly reduce the barriers women face and help them.

Our Initiatives
We believe that state legislatures are particularly crucial because they are the building blocks of political power. By focusing on improving these institutions, we can create a ripple effect that impacts politics at all levels. Through our innovative research and development, we build knowledge, tools, and actionable systems that disrupt outdated political structures, paving the way for a more inclusive democracy. We currently have two initiatives underway to do just that.
GRID® Safety
Did you know that 43% of legislators in office face threats and harassment? And women officials were at least three times more likely to experience abuse targeting their gender? What if we could use technology to address and even reduce these incidents?

For legislators, the state legislature is your workplace. So why are our political structures held to different standards than other modern workplaces? What if we could rank state legislatures on their professionalization to see where they stand?
